Regeneration is Not Possible

Naturally, foods that contain fermentable carbohydrates – such as soft drinks, candy, and crackers – should be avoided, as well as foods that contain excessive amounts of sugars and acids.
Strengthening a Child’s Teeth should include the following ideal foods:
- Strawberries, Oranges, and Cantaloupe – According to research, the mouth is loaded with bacteria. Many of these lead to the development of certain types of oral health complications, such as gingivitis. The vitamin C that is found in abundance in strawberries, oranges, and cantaloupe aid in eliminating the harmful bacteria in the mouth. Additionally, these items are known to increase the production of collagen in the body, which aids in healthy gums. Unfortunately, the oranges do contain citric acid. This may soften enamel – but, it is only temporary. - Milk, Cheeses, and Yogurt – When attempting to strengthen your child’s teeth, you should encourage them to consume milk, various types of cheeses, and even yogurt. These products contain a large amount of calcium, phosphate, and even vitamin D – all of which have the unique ability to increase the PH in the mouth, successfully lower levels of harmful acids, and significantly reduce the chance of decay developing. Furthermore, these food products have the ability to directly strengthen the bones and improve the strength of enamel that has been previously weakened.
